Jew Town, Mattancherry

I find the area of Jew Town and Mattancherry facinating...old historical buildings reflecting the influences from the colonial period, traditional way of doing things especially in the spice trade and antiques this area is known for. Its like going back in time. On the other hand this area is also the place where artist can display their work against the backdrop of old decaying buildings...as was evident during the Biennale.
